Synopsis
Ben Kaplan understands what American families want to know about making college more affordable. In fact, 90 percent of the thousands surveyed during his renowned Scholarship Coach National Tour said that they were extremely frustrated with scholarship directories currently on the market -- hefty, but mostly unusable listings of contact information for specialized scholarships that most students aren't eligible to apply for.
In response, Kaplan analyzed thousands of programs and narrowed down the list to create a first-of-its-kind scholarship guidebook: an in-depth report on the nation's best, and most widely accessible, scholarship opportunities. This groundbreaking new book offers:
-- Profiles of key scholarships for high school and college students, grad students, adult students, and even kids under 14.
-- Revealing interviews with scholarship judges and past winners.
-- Sample winning entries, essays, and behind-the-scenes advice on how to win each scholarship.
