About the Author
Lisa Jane Smith realized she wanted to be a writer sometime between kindergarten and first grade. Her first novel, The Night of the Solstice, was published the year she graduated from college. Many of her books are based on her own nightmares and those of her friends. She lives in the Bay area of Northern California with one dog, three cats, and about ten thousand books.
