Synopsis
The Sensory Order, first published in 1952, sets forth Hayek's classic theory of mind in which he describes the mental
mechanism that classifies perceptions that cannot be accounted for by physical laws. Editor Viktor Vanberg writes in
the introduction that The Sensory Order provides "an essential foundation of Hayek's] comprehensive social theory,
covering economics, law, politics, and philosophy" (emphasis in the original).
