Offsetting to first & last leaves, edges toned, ownership names on first two leaves, text with light foxing. Mayhew (1720-1766), a 1744 Harvard graduate, wrote sermons ardently supporting liberty and independence while opposing tyranny and slavery, whether of many, few, or just one.
