About the Author
Dr. Fetzer is the Global Director of Advanced Assessment Technologies at SHL Group, the leading global provider of pre-employment assessments and employee selection solutions. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the development of leading-edge simulations and multimedia-based assessments that are implemented around the world. In addition, he is passionate about exploring new technologies to enhance all aspects of the assessment process. Before joining SHL, he championed the global testing initiatives at Development Dimensions International (DDI). Dr. Fetzer holds a doctoral degree in industrial-organizational psychology and is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the International Test Commission, the International Association of Applied Psychology, the International Association for Computerized Adaptive Testing, and the American Psychological Association. Kathy is a product development expert with over fourteen years of experience creating innovative and engaging products for talent measurement, incorporating the latest animation and video technologies. She specializes in translating customer requirements into sellable products, managing cross-functional teams from IT and R&D, and adapting existing methods for test development to create entirely new ways of testing people's skills and capabilities. Her simulations have earned 'Product of the Year' awards from Human Resources Executive and Customer Interaction Systems magazines.
