A baby's first year is full of milestones, from first smiles to first steps, and this book celebrates them all! “Would this book be best as a gift for new parents, a title to prepare an older sibling-to-be or an interactive offering to share with a group of antsy toddlers or preschoolers? The answer is a resounding “Yes!” . . . Even though sweet books on new babyhood abound, this stands out as a fresh addition.” –Kirkus Reviews
“A much-loved newborn is brought home to his family and a string of happy milestones follow. . . . This is a charming journey through a fast-paced 12 months that parents can share with their own beautiful babies.” –School Library Journal
Follow Mother Rabbit through her rambling house and garden as she tucks in a whole alphabet of baby bunnies, from Abel through Zed. This cozy bedtime book has the comforting familiarity of a lullaby combined with the fundamental concepts toddlers adore.
Old Mother Rabbit and her 26 children live in a nice old shoe. Each of her bunnies has a different spot to sleep. Bunny number 1 is named Abel. He sleeps on the table. Number 7 is Gretel -- she dozes in a kettle. From Abel to Zed, as these adorable bunnies drift off to sleep, their names and numbers help kids to count and say the alphabet. But will these rascally rabbits stay under their covers when their mother wants to sleep? With sales of over 125,000 in its hardcover and board book editions, this bedtime/counting book is perfect for spring holidays and all year round.
From "Goodnight Moon" to "Guess How Much I Love You", bunny bedtime books are favorites. "So Many Bunnies" is three books in one: an ABC "and" a counting book "and" a bedtime story. Full color.
