About the Author
Erin Shields is a Toronto-based playwright and actor who trained at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in London, England. She is a founding member of Groundwater Productions, through which she creates and develops most of her work. Other works include If We Were Birds, winner of the 2011 Governor Generals Literary Award; Montparnasse, winner of the Alberta Theatre Projectss Enbridge Emerging playRites Award; The Epic of Gilgamesh, and Dance of the Red Skirts.
