Synopsis
The first in a middle-grade action-adventure series from cross-channel bestselling author Roland Smith.
This is the first in a three-book middle-grade series about a twelve-year-old boy whose father is a disaster hunter -- someone who keeps an eye out for situations like Hurricane Katrina, tornados, etc., and heads TOWARD them with the intention of offering his services and expertise in reconstruction. But sometimes the boy's father also exploits those in need, something his son can't stand and tries to compensate for in his own way. Book One will take us to the scene of a hurricane, and it will be nonstop adventure from the first page.

About the Author
Roland Smith first worked with animals at the Portland Zoo, and he has been involved in animal rescues and conservation work around the world for more than twenty years. He is the author of numerous books for young readers, including JACK'S RUN, ZACH'S LIE, CRYPTID HUNTERS, PEAK, TENTACLES, and the Storm Runners series.
