About the Author
is a private financial aid consultant and director of the Burlington Kaplan center. She has worked in the financial aid and student financial services offices at several colleges, most recently as director of financial aid at Trinity College.
Trent Anderson is the vice president for publishing and e-Ventures at Kaplan, Inc. In this position, he oversees more than 150 book and software titles and is a contributing editor to Kaplan's test preparation and financial aid guides. He earned a B.A. from UCLA and his law degree and M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Seppy Basili is vice president of learning and assessment for Kaplan. Inc. He has more than 15 years of experience in the test preparation and college admissions industry. He oversees Kaplan's precollege business (SAT, ACT, and PSAT), as well as college admissions services. He has a B.A. from Kenyon College, J.D. from Emory University, and M.Ed. from the University of California at Berkeley.
Trent Anderson is the Vice President for Education at Cablevision, Inc., where he oversees the "Power to Learn" initiative. Before joining Cablevision, Trent was the Vice President of Publishing for Kaplan, Inc., where he developed book projects for the education market. During his 10 years with Kaplan, Trent was a test prep instructor, admissions advisor, financial aid expert, and author and contributing editor of several books, including Once Upon a Campus, The Unofficial, Unbiased Guide to the 328 Most Interesting Colleges, and Kaplan's precollege and pregrad school test prep titles. Trent spent his college years in Southern California, where he earned his bachelor's degree at UCLA and his J.D. and M.B.A. at the University of Southern California. Prior to working at Kaplan, Inc., Trent taught undergraduate business law at the University of Southern California.
