About the Author
Katie Chudy began her blog, The Small Boston Kitchen, in 2009 and attended the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in 2011. Upon receiving her Culinary Certificate, she opened The Skinny Beet, a boutique personal chef and catering company that services the Greater Boston Area. She and her husband Richard also teach cooking classes at the Boston Center for Adult Education as well as private cooking lessons.
Katie is also a food writer and photographer. She is best known for her work with Eater Boston and her recipes and photos have been featured in Boston.com and Boston magazine as well as PBS Food and The Huffington Post. Katie has also appeared in a Cooking Channel commercial and has done cooking videos for Cambridge-based company how2heros. In addition to her writing, Katie co-hosts The Skinny Beet Dinner Party, a podcast featuring people in the local food industry. She lives with her husband in Newtonville, MA.
