Volume 1 includes warm-up and stretching techniques, line drills, and an abdominal workout. It also covers basic kicks (round kicks, fast kicks, side kicks, back kicks, the spinning back-hook kick, the ax kick and motion drills), multiple kicks, and paddle and box drills.
About the Author
Herb Perez, the 1992 Olympic gold medalist, a seven-time national champion and a member of the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame, is one of the first Americans to win a gold medal in an Olympic taekwondo competition. Now focusing his attention on writing, lecturing and teaching, Perez uses his martial arts expertise and competition experience to help other taekwondo students prepare for competition.
