About the Author
Naomi Lewis (1911and#150;2009) was a leading authority on the writing of Hans Christian Andersen. A distinguished children's writer, poet, and much-respected reviewer of children's books, she died in 2009. Emma Chichester Clark is the winner of the Mother Goose Award and has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, the Kurt Maschler Award, and the Blue Peter Book Award. She has illustrated books from authors including Roald Dahl, Michael Morpurgo, and Geraldine McCaughrean. Also the author and illustrator of the popular Blue Kangaroo series, she lives in London.
