About the Author
John C. Peterson is a retired instructor from Chattanooga State Technical Community College, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He belongs to the Mathematical Association of America, the American Mathematical Society, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Tennessee Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges, and the Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association. He is the 1995 recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award given by the Chattanooga State Foundation and the Co-Project Investigator of the National Science Foundation funded project, Technical Mathematics for Tomorrow: Recommendations and Exemplary Programs.
