About the Author
The late andlt;iandgt;andlt;bandgt;A. L. Sadler,andlt;/iandgt;andlt;/bandgt; MA, was Professor of Oriental Studies at the University of Sydney for 26 years. Professor Sadler was a distinguished devotee of Japan and its culture.
