Italy, Turkey, and along the Danube River in Roumania. It is also prevalent in \vest Indies, Mexico, Central America. South America, Australia, North Africa, East Africa, South Africa, Ireland. Finland, southern Russia, China, Japan, Java, Borneo, and the Philippine Islands.
