In the early 1990s, on the plains of Zimbabwe, a new-born elephant watched her family being brutally slaughtered. Terrified and bewildered, she was transported to America to be sold. Bob Norris, the original "Marlboro Man," felt an enormous empathy with this damaged, vulnerable creature and adopted her. But Bob's ultimate goal was for "Amy" to regain her independence and go back to the savannahs of Africa.
