Synopsis
This book is the final work of the author's thirty-two volume cycle of Spiritual Guidance, symbolically designated by its title as a Gated Garden. As that name suggests, the works comprising that Garden, which present objective reflections of the inherent structure of spiritual reality, are accessible only to readers who seek reliable knowledge about the final things that neither religion, nor philosophy are able to offer. The concluding work of this cycle addresses questions submitted by readers with additional details and facts. Discussed here are topics like The Simplicity of all Things Eternal, The Consciousness of the Departed, On Timeless and Temporal Space, The Mystery of the Orient, On Mistaken Images of God, What Survives After Death, and The Dilemma of Pastoral Care.
Synopsis
The Gated Garden is the final book in B Yin R 's 32-volume teaching cycle (the totality of which is called by the same name), and aims to fill in gaps in the spiritual guidance offered in previous books. The book covers a wide range of topics, including: the nature of our consciousness after death and what carries over from this life, how the Luminaries help beings on earth and in the life beyond, how the concept of space differs in the temporal and timeless realms, how the approach to awakening differs in the Eastern versus Western quest for inner illumination, and the difference between what is truly eternal and ideas about the eternal.
