About the Author
Frederick Morgan is the author of ten books of poetry, two books of translation and two books of prose fables. A graduate of Princeton, he is a lifelong New Yorker. During World War II, he served in the Tank Destroyer Corps of the U.S. Army. In 1947, he co-founded The Hudson Review, and still serves as editor emeritus to this day. In 1984 he was named a Chevalier de lordre des Arts et des Lettres by the government of France.
