About the Author
Alfred Dunhill was the founder of the world-renowned Alfred Dunhill Limited. His company was the first to introduce a lighter that could be operated with just one hand. His private collection of pipes from around the world was extensively cataloged, and from these archives emerged The Pipe Book. Dunhill passed away in 1959. His grandson, Richard Dunhill, is now the chairman of Alfred Dunhill Limited.
