About the Author
In 2009, Doug Oster won an Emmy Award for writing, producing and hosting the one-hour PBS documentary The Gardens of Pennsylvania.
In 2011 and again in 2013, Doug won the Garden Writers Association (GWA) National Media award for his ""Digging With Doug"" weekly video series, through the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
