Prez and his eight precocious friends really like their new fifth grade teacher, Mr. Biffle. He's a first-year teacher who has lots of great ideas that make learning fun. At six foot five inches tall and 270 pounds, Mr. Biffle is a former college football player who still looks in good enough shape to play the game. One day Mr. Biffle plays catch with the football with some of his students, and they find out he can do two things with the football that are pretty incredible. Late in the NFL football season, the Pittsburgh Steelers lose one of their key players to injury, and Prez is convinced Mr. Biffle would be the perfect replacement. Soon, Mr. Biffle and his fifth graders are involved in a great adventure that takes them all the way to the Super Bowl!
About the Author
Kevin Kremer started to really like writing when he became a fifth grade teacher and began writing stories with his students. It was largely due to their encouragement that he wrote his first book, A Kremer Christmas Miracle. He is a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. For over fifteen years he's wanted to write a book involving school kids and footballa book that even people who don't like sports would like. The result is The Year Our Teacher Won the Super Bowl, inspired by the Steelers victory in Super Bowl XLIII. It is hid eighth chapter book.
