Excerpt from Thirtieth Annual Report of the City of Keene: Containing Inaugural Ceremonies, Ordinances and Joint Resolutions, Passed by the City Councils, With Reports of the Several Departments, for 1903
Prayer was offered by the Rev. Alfred H. Wheeler, after which the mayor delivered his inaugural address.
After the prayer and inaugural address. Frank H. Whitcomb was elected clerk, and Joseph F. Emmons, city messenger, and the councils then adjourned until o'clock.
