CHRIS CARMICHAEL, Lance Armstrong's longtime coach and founder of Carmichael Training Systems Inc., was named the U.S. Olympic Committee's Coach of the Year in 1999. He is the coauthor of The Lance Armstrong Performance Program and author of the ""New York Times"" bestseller ""Chris Carmichael's Food for Fitness: Eat Right to Train Right,"" He lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
