About the Author
Chris has a decade of experience as an Automotive Technology instructor at secondary and post-secondary schools, including department chair and program coordinator positions. Before teaching, Chris was a master certified automotive technician working for a GM dealership, an independent, a retail store, and owning his own business. Chris has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Automotive Engineering Technology, with a minor in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Minnesota State University Mankato and he has a Master's of Education degree in Community College Teaching and Learning from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign Providing a rare combination of high school and college teaching expertise, along with hands-on experience from the shop, Mr. Hadfield lends his critical eye to a variety of Delmar-Cengage Learning automotive publications, including Today's Technician: Basic Automotive Service and Systems and Automotive Service Job Sheets for NATEF Task Mastery. Mr. Hadfield holds an EdM from University of Illinois and a BS in Automotive Engineering Technology from Minnesota State University.
