About the Author
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers released their debut album in 1976. Petty has received numerous prestigious awards, including 16 Grammy nominations and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Petty was also a member of the supergroup the Traveling Wilburys, along with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' 2006 tour was one of their most successful ever. Tom Petty lives in Los Angeles.
