About the Author
James E. Dowd, M.D., F.A.C.R., is Associate Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and the founder and director of boththe Arthritis Institute of Michigan and the Michigan Arthritis Research Center. Dr. Dowd'sboard certifications include general internalmedicine, adult rheumatology, and pediatricrheumatology.
