This book is a revelation - since reading it I haven't felt confused or caught in dilemas of how to care for children in the middle of wants and pleas and temper trantrums. It's guides how to support children and babies to develop - when to use disipline and when to use cuddles, utilising the latest scientific knowlegde of how childrens brains react and are sculpted by actions of caregivers. Even if you havent got a child its still worth reading to meditate and understand more about the child that you were and how caregiveing or lack of it has affected who we are as adults.
