What You Can, When You Can (or #wycwyc) is a movement, a mindset, and a lifestyle that harnesses the power of small steps toward achieving big goals. What You Can, When You Can: 50 Ways To Reach Your Healthy Living Goals
is the handbook to help women stay on track with the #wycwyc way.
In this encouraging and inspirational handbook, authors and fitness bloggers Carla Birnberg and Roni Noone emphasize progress over perfection. They urge women to focus on achieving the possible, rather than the perfect, through doable, practical steps that lead to big differences. This portable companion contains fifty strategies for achieving success, from the practical to the psychological.
The #wycwyc movement is also about community. Every page of What You Can, When You Can contains a social media tip to help women find a network of like-minded people online. #wycwyc focuses on building a supportive environment that allows women to achieve their goals together. The #wycwyc way isnand#8217;t about changing your life overnight: itand#8217;s about knowing that the road to improvement is paved brick by brick, step by step, by simply doing what you can, when you can.

We all know we should eat better, exercise more, get better quality rest, and so on. Tell us something we donand#8217;t know, right? After all, every statistic we have about Americans and our health proves that no matter how good our intentions are, we are failing to change the habits that undermine our well-being. But how do we achieve our healthy living goals when theyand#8217;re so daunting? Who has the time, the willpower, the resources to do all that nutritious eating, muscle building, restful sleeping, and work-life balancing?
Carla Birnberg and Roni Noone have the answer to thatand#151;the answer is you. You have the power to make healthier living easy and exciting, just by adopting one simple mantra: "What you can when you can." Itand#8217;s all you need.
What You Can When You Can (#wycwyc) is a book, a movement, a mindset, and a lifestyleand#151;one that harnesses the power of small steps to let you achieve your health and fitness goals on YOUR terms. The #wycwyc (pronounced "wickwick") philosophy applies to anything and everything that contributes to a healthy, happy life: nutrition, exercise, physical and mental rejuvenation, and so much more.
This book is for those that would like to live in joy and peace, are facing a banana peel field (illness, loss of a loved one, money problems, or a failing relationship), are serious about changing their life, or need to figure out how to be positive instead of negative. Part memoir and part self-help, this guide draws inspiration from the author’s cancer survival story, which is told in an inimitable and straight-talking way, and her GAAB (Going Above And Beyond) Life 21-Day Challenge. The rainbow is at the end of the journey that begins today.

Once an Assistant Professor of Web Technologies, Roni Noone changed career paths drastically after launching a weight loss blog in 2005. This wasn't the first time Roni dieted, but it ended up being her last.
Roni used her blog, Roniand#8217;s Weigh, to not only shed 70 pounds, but to start a running habit, get over a fear of weight training, complete her first (she's working on a second) marathon and run seven Tough Mudders, yes, seven.
Blogging became a complete creative outlet for Roni. Within 2 years she launched a second blog called GreenLiteBites to share her food ideas. Recognizing the power of blogging, she also started a supportive online community called BlogToLose, where now more than 6,000 users are blogging to reach their own weight-loss goals.
In 2010 Roni launched the FitBlogginand#8217; conference to bring together new and seasoned health and wellness, fitness and weight-loss bloggers for knowledge, personal growth and networking. Now in its fifth year, FitBloggin' is a thriving, supportive, community of bloggers all sharing the conference's mission to help spread a culture of health and wellness.
With two successful blogs under her belt, Roni launched a third in 2012 to explore and inspire herself and her readers to travel more. TheUnworldlyTravelers chronicles the travels of two old friends as they try to see as much of the world as possible.
As a Mom to two active boys, Roni continues to balance her interests while raising a family. She recently published a children's book, is planning the next FitBloggin' conference, staying as active as possible and traveling whenever she can. In 2013, she launched the challenge and hashtag #wycwyc andmdash; "What You Can When You Can" andmdash; to inspire people to do what they can when they can while working toward their goals.
Roni earned a Masters of Science in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University, from which she also holds a Bachelors in Management Information Systems. She has represented and consulted for a wide variety of clients in the health and fitness industry including: Kellogg, ALDI, The Laughing Cow, Liberty Mutual, HumanaVitality, Weight Watchers, Kraft, Vitalicious, Subway, Johns Hopkins University, Quaker, Nutrilite, and Pom.
