“Oh, to be the lucky child whose parent reads Wherever You Are, My Love Will Find You aloud…Wherever You Are, My Love Will Find You is the book you want to give to whomever you love; it would make a memorable birthday, holiday or ‘just because gift, and it is sure to be treasured.” —BlogCritics.org
“The simplicity of the illustrations work well with the verses that describe the power of love and how it is always near no matter where one is. Those children who enjoyed Tillman's previous book, On the Night You Were Born, will probably enjoy the lyrical words and enchanting illustrations of this book, too. A wonderful book to share with children to let them know they are always loved.” —Childrens Literature

“A beautiful and timeless book.” —School Library Journal

What follows is a buoyant, imagistic tribute to the season, as the Spirit lists joys both concrete and intangible, before offering the reminder: ‘Because it took nothing but love to begin it,/ its not really Christmas if love isnt in it. Tillmans ethereal illustrations are surreal but captivating.” —Publishers Weekly

". . . big, swooshing street sweeper; the taxi with screeching brakes; the busy police car; the frowning bus. The angry traffic standoffs and the small truckand#8217;s triumph will be welcome fuel for many preschoolersand#8217; imaginative play."--Booklist and#160; "It's in the fusion of the old-fashioned with the modern-eclectic--one man in the crowd listens to an iPod--that the book's artistry shines."--Publisher's Weekly
Review
"Schertle's (All You Need for a Beach) rhyming stanzas are succinct, and she gives readers plenty of opportunities to chime in with animal and vehicle noises; colored, standout fonts highlight these sounds for extra effect. McElmurry's (Mad About Plaid) gouaches recall the heyday of Golden Books in their combination of vividness, naand#239;vetand#233; and sweetness, and her rich palette achieves verisimilitude that is no less satisfying for being nostalgic."and#160; --Publishers Weekly, starred review (4/28/08)and#160;
