About the Author
Scharlotte Rich is the author of numerous childrens books, including the heart-warming
Grandmas Gospel, and
I Love My Mommy and I Love My Daddy, finalists for the Gold Medallion Award. Scharlotte holds a masters degree in Special Education from the University of Colorado and has been a teacher for many years. Today, she enjoys working with her students at Colorado Springs Christian School. When her children were small, she and her family lived in a cabin visited weekly by black bears and raccoons, just like those found in
Who Made the Wild Woods?Anna Currey is the author and illustrator of several successful picture books, including Albertine and Tickling Tigers. She grew up on a farm in the Republic of Ireland and moved to England in the 1970s. Anna and her husband Robert have two daughters, Elinor and Pamela, and live in Corsham near Bath with their dog, two cats, and a variety of goldfish and sea monkeys. Her most recent title is The Macmillan Treasury of Nursery Rhymes and Poems, for which she completed 360 illustrations in five months.
