Publisher Comments:

Adventurer Dirk Pitt knows three recent events are connected: the discovery of an aged wreck by an Antarctic whaler, an explosion that buries a team of anthropologists, and a ship thought destroyed years before that nearly sinks a National Underwater and Marine Agency ship. Pitt is led to an ancient mystery with devastating modern consequences.

Excellent Dirk Pitt novel! This is a fast paced, intricate story that leaves you shaking your head wondering if something like this is actually possible. Incredibly well written by a master in the field. If you're familiar with Pitt, you will love this book, if you've never met Dirk before, this is a great introduction!
