Publisher Comments:

The Latest in Pole Construction Plans from Author/Builder Monte Burch

While many pole building books focus on residential housing, Monte Burch's Pole Building Projects features other structures suitable for rural and suburban areas. More than two dozen attractive, practical, and useful pole building plans are fully presented, projects to improve your yard, farm, or homestead. Burch's fresh ideas offer something for every builder, from a storage shed or gambrel to a garden gazebo or swimming pool deck surround.

Monte Burch's Pole Building Projects includes:

* Small and Big Bale Hay Barns

* Recreational Vehicle Shelter

* Mobile Home Cover

* Wood Shed

* Lean-To Shelter

* Two-Car Garage

* Workshop

* Barbecue Shelter

* Livestock Shade

* Grape Arbor

Economical pole building construction saves time, labor, and money because it requires no foundation, excavation, only limited grading, and fewer materials. Pole buildings allow use of sites not suitable for other types of construction, and pole design offers excellent structural integrity and wind resistance. The poles transfer snow, wind, and building loads directly into the ground. Plus, the simplicity and ease of construction of pole buildings make them ideal for the first-time builder.
