Powells.com accepts payment by credit card and by PayPal. Businesses in the US ordering regularly by volume may apply to be billed by our Accounts Receivable office. Or, for those of you who'd prefer to order by phone, we've set up a special page to show you how.

Paying by Credit Card

Powell's accepts American Express, Discover, JCB, Master Card, and Visa. If you are paying by credit card, your billing address must be the same as the address to which your credit card statements are mailed. Your card will not be billed until we have your books in hand and are ready to ship.

Paying by PayPal

PayPal enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily, and quickly send and receive payments online. PayPal's service builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards and utilizes the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe, global, real-time payment solution. Billing with our Accounts Receivable Department

If you're ordering for a US business, library, or educational institution, you may want to open a billing account with us. When selecting a payment option:

1. Mark the Accounts Receivable box, then
2. Click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.

You may leave the credit card information section blank – we'll need more specific information about your institution to set up your business account.

A page will appear on your browser that you'll need to read, sign, and fax to us, along with three credit references. Once we've approved your account, you'll be free to pay with your Business Account.

Please Note: Only purchases of $50 or more may be billed to Accounts Receivable.
