How did the last good book you read end up in your hands and why did you read it?
Under the Bridge by Rebecca Godfrey is the nonfiction account of a fourteen-year-old schoolgirl who is beaten to death by her schoolmates. It was given to me by a friend and I found it impossible to put down. I was talking about it in my sleep.

Describe the best breakfast of your life.
The Christmas I was nineteen, my boyfriend and I ended up one night in London with nowhere to sleep. We had no money (eaten ATM card), just train tickets to his uncle's house in Devon for eight o'clock the next morning. It was freezing and we spent the night getting thrown off buses and trying to sleep in train stations, so hungry we wanted to kill each other. When we finally made it down to his uncle's, and I think he may have burned our clothes while we were bathing, we ate everything: eggs, toast, fruit, chocolate, anything we could get our hands on.

What is your favorite indulgence either wicked or benign?
Most recently it's been watching the entire first season of The Wire on DVD.

Make up a question of your own, then answer it.
Q: Who is the best character on The Wire?

A: Without a doubt, Stringer Bell. Sure, I hear you say Omar, Omar... and I can see the logic. Maybe you even wrote some smart books — you know who you are — but that doesn't make you right.

In the For-All-Eternity category, what will be your final thought?
