Construction Routes to NW Warehouse

Between June 2009 and December 2012, the City of Portland will begin work on the Balch Consolidation project at the corner of NW 29th Ave. and Industrial St., just outside the front doors or Powell's NW Warehouse. Drivers, bus commuters, and bike riders can still reach Powell's warehouse from various points on Yeon (Hwy 30) and Nicolai Street.

Because there are multiple street closures in the area, please follow these routes:

From the south on Hwy 30:

  • Turn left on NW 29th Avenue

From NW Vaughn Street:

  • Turn right on Nicolai Street
  • Turn left on NW 28th Avenue
  • Turn left on NW Industrial Street
  • Turn right on NW 29th Avenue
