Powell's Books at Cedar Hills Crossing November 6, 2006, Portland, OR —Powell's Books is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new Cedar Hills Crossing store on Friday, November 17, 2006. The 32,500-square-foot location offers customers double the retail space of Powell's current Beaverton store at Cascade Plaza, along with upgraded amenities, an expanded children's section, comfortable author events space, and more areas for book browsing. To celebrate, Powell's Books invites all community members and Powell's patrons to a store opening reception at 6 p.m. Following the reception, Powell's Books at Cedar Hills Crossing welcomes special guest Mireille Guiliano, author of French Women for All Seasons and French Women Don't Get Fat. "Emily and I want to thank our Beaverton customers, who have been so supportive over the past twenty-two years.
