Mixing the pathos of Peanuts with the imagination of Little Nemo in Slumberland, plus indelible characters and sharp, beautiful artwork reminiscent of Pogo, Calvin & Hobbes is a feast for the eyes and mind. Watterson's cast lives and breathes on the page, and his stories and artwork transcend the confines of the four-panel strip, opening the form to whole worlds of possibility.
