This is the first book anyone who wishes to learn to knit should have. Actually, it's a great book to have around no matter what level knitter you are. Elizabeth Zimmerman is always a fun read.

This is a delightful book to read, but even more, a very helpful guide to knitting. Ms. Zimmermann is witty and relaxed about knitting. She passes on things she has learned, which can be applied to life as well as knitting. Totally worth the price even if you buy it new!
