About the Author
Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D., received her doctorate in biology from the University of Michigan and taught for several years at Columbia College, Chicago. Recently, she briefed U.N. delegates in Geneva on breast milk contamination. She is currently on the faculty at Cornell University.

This is an amazing book. I am on a personal mission to get all my female friends to read this book, then move on to members of Congress, state regulators and even producers of persistent toxic chemicals.
This is not a "woman's" book, this is a book for EVERYONE. A friend told me that the title and cover would not have caused her to pick it up, but now that she's read it, she's recommending it to everyone she knows as well.
Read this book if you care about the future of the human race!
