Synopsis:
From birth to exhaustion, the Lord keeps us. All our needs have been met through Jesus Christ whom God has given us the great pleasure of serving. As ministers of the Body of Christ, we operate under a great plan. Our mission is to bring the good news to the lost and dying world, those who have suffered far too long. You are the Virgin Bride awaiting her Bridegroom. Your wait has been long, and you have grown tired. Some have even fallen asleep. I charge you to push through the darkness, wipe away the sleep from the corners of your eyes, be reminded as to your station in life and keep your oil handy. For He is coming soon and you need to be ready. Arise, O sleeper

Linda Hiles writes a warm and devoted tribute to God in Arise, O Sleeper. With trust in God and belief in his Son Jesus, eternal life will follow. She has a firm belief in faith. She carefully chooses her words as she gives her interpretation of selected quotes from Bible scripture. Linda Hiles is a gentle soul, spreading the messages she receives from God.
Every reader will find passages in which they can relate. It’s apparent that Linda Hiles has had a painful past, but she emerges from it like a rising phoenix with strong words, reminding us of the imposters that hide in churches and warning us to be aware of their existence. She follows with a suggestion to “put on the full armor of God” to stand up against the evil lurking in unexpected places and to not be taken in by “false prophets.” Her experiences have taught her that only God has earned her trust. When she trusts in Him, she can’t go wrong.
This is a book to read over a period of time. There’s so much information that it’s impossible to completely understand through a quick read. But once the reader comes back, say in a troubled time in life, the messages may all be seen in a different light. It’s a soothing read yet conveys powerful revelations. Arise, O Sleeper, is a book to have on hand when in need of inspiration and loving words. Linda Hiles genuinely feels every word that she writes, sending impassioned tidings to all. It’s a book for every household—a companion to the Bible.
We all have a purpose in life, and Linda Hiles was meant to write this book. The writing is pure and comes from the heart—a heart that truly loves the Lord and wishes to share that pure love with the reader. Arise, O Sleeper says it all.

Jacksonville, FL - Newly published author Linda Hiles - writes without regard for a person's status, race or gender in "Arise, O Sleeper".
Coming to us, just in time, as an encouraging format for openly rebuking the heart of God's people.
God's heart has been believed to be that of a 'Great Love' that simply gives to those that seek, and although this is completely true, it does not speak of his entire nature. For there are many facets of God's character. It is here that she found herself leaning on God's wisdom to survive in a world that only dictates cruelty at best.
Read as encouragement from God's lips, "Arise, O Sleeper" carefully creates an atmosphere for desire to become the very person God birthed us to be. Through it's pages we are reminded that our involvement in God's plan is more than just a position, but a calling.
We are taught through God's written heart to remain teachable, to rely on God's Spirit and to trust in his love. If we render a thankful heart and reside in hope, his peace will surely find us.
It is Linda Hiles' hope that you will acknowledge what is being said within the 228 pages of "Arise, O Sleeper" as both inspiring, uplifting and powerfully truthful.
