Just got this and while there is a lot of information that might be helpful, it is very U.K. focused. We're not just talking about the metric system, we're talking about products, lifestyle descriptions, all statistics ("The average UK citizen travels ..."). The extent of it was disappointing considering the price and the fact I was looking for something for myself, also the simple fact that this is not clear in the book descriptions. Just a word to the wise, I'm still going to give it a go but don't see it as the reference guide I thought it would be.

There are quite a few other books out there for living more environmentally friendly or more carbon neutral, but this one might also be a good choice for people who have or want to start a book club--read it and actually use it, don't just talk about it!
