About the Author
Maria Van Lieshout makes her picture book debut with BLOOM! A native of the Netherlands, she now lives in San Francisco. Images from BLOOM! were selected for the 49th Annual Society of Illustrators Exhibition (January - April 2007) and in the published Annual (Spring 2008). Bloom likes this kind of attention very much!
