Synopses & Reviews
Lynn Montana makes her Avon debut with a sizzling romantic action/adventure featuring a female Indiana Jones–type heroine and a story that will appeal to any woman who has ever had two different types of men claim a piece of her heart.
Josie "Crazy Legs" Mayne is on the verge of accepting Skylark Ambrose Tyler's marriage proposal. After all, how often does a nice handsome, rich, single guy come along? With infallible timing, her ex–husband Pardee reappears to interrupt what should be the most romantic night of her life with a "family emergency." Pardee needs Crazy Legs, his former partner and pilot in his bounty hunting business, to help him rescue his kidnapped son. Torn between her crazy old life and a promising new one, Josie decides to accompany Pardee on one last adventure, and soon finds herself fighting an old passion and dodging bullets in Mexico.
Synopsis
Greetings From the Road!
Just a quick note to let you know I'm alive (for the moment!). I had to leave my rich beau Tyler and his sixth marriage proposal in the lurch when my ex-partner, ex-hubby Pardee (Remember him? Bounty hunter? Strong? Sexy? Dangerous?) asked (begged!) for help rescuing his kidnapped kid. Now we're running for our lives. (They don't call me "Crazy Legs" for nothing!) Things haven't been this hectic since I flew choppers in Desert Storm. If Pardee weren't so desperate -- and, okay, I admit it, still so damned hot! -- I'd be on the next Greyhound out. Oh well, that's life, I guess. Having an exciting time, wish you were here. Wish the bad guys (with guns!) weren't. Or the cops. (They're after us too. Don't ask!)
Love, Josie
