With a degree from secretarial school, Bebe Bennett has split Richmond, Virginia, for the whirlwind of Manhattan. Getting in on the British invasion, her boss at Rip City Records has signed up Philip Royal and the Beefeaters. But when Bebe and her stewardess roommate Darlene go to meet two members of the band for a fab night out, they find Philip dead, electrocuted with his own guitar. Even worse, the fuzz suspect Darlene.
