About the Author
Maureen Christian Petrosky graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and the Master Court of Sommeliers, and attended the Sterling School of Spirits. She has made regular appearances on CNN as a food and wine expert, and continues to work on developing educational segments to intrigue and excite viewers of all ages. Maureen has hosted numerous segments on wine and food for Fox News, MSNBC, and The Food Network. She is a Contributing Editor for Bon Appétit Magazine and a spokesperson for Better Homes and Garden«.
Throughout her Culinary Arts and Wine career, Maureen has been recognized by Disney Inc., Food and Wine Magazine, The California Vintners Association, and was named the first "Female Chef Extraordinaire" by the International organization Les Marmitons. Maureen is a member of the New York chapter of the highly prestigious Les Dames d' Escoffier International. She resides in Manhattan with her husband Michael, and they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of twins this spring.
