About the Author
Barbara Taylor Bradford began her literary career at the age of 10, when she sold her first short story to a children's magazine. At 16, she became a reporter for the Yorkshire Evening Post. She was later women's page editor and then went to work on newspapers in London. She is the author of 18 best-selling novels, which have sold more than 63 million copies worldwide in 89 countries and 39 languages. Ten of her novels have been made into television miniseries or movies of the week. She lives in New York City with her husband, film producer Robert Bradford.
