About the Author
Troy Taylor has written nearly three dozen books about ghosts and haunting in Illinois and across the US, including
Haunted Illinois,
Haunted Chicago, and others. He is co-author of
Weird Virginia and editor of
Ghosts of the Prairie magazine. In addition, he has given hundreds of interviews for radio and television broadcasts about the supernatural and has appeared in a number of documentary films and television shows. Troy also hosts ghost tours in Decatur, Alton, and Chicago.
