About the Author
Justine Simmons is the costar of the blockbuster MTV show Runs House. She and her husband, Reverend Run, aka Joseph Simmons—one of the pioneering founders of Run DMC—live in New Jersey with their children.
Robert Papp has won awards nationwide, but he is most proud of the reaction his paintings receive from children. He lives in Pennsylvania with his artist wife, Lisa, and their cat, Taffy.
Reverend Run entered the public eye in 1983 as Run, leader of the pioneering rap trio Run-DMC. Since then, his accomplishments include becoming president of Phatfarm Footwear, CEO of Run Athletics, and star of the top-rated MTV show Run's House. Recently, he released his first solo album, Distortion, on RSMG, and directed the video for his first single, "Mind on the Road." More important, he is a minister at Zoe Ministries, founded by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan in 1983. Run now spends the majority of his time at church and building the foundations of his family.
