About the Author
Lorelle Marinello's induction to storytelling took a roundabout route. After receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts from SDSU, she developed an interest in children's book illustration. It wasn't long before she was hooked on the idea of having stories to go with the pictures in her head. She soon discovered that the adventures of her grandfather's boyhood in rural Alabama were the perfect fodder for her stories of small towns and family relationships.
Lorelle makes her home in the mountains of Southern California with her husband and three children. She has won numerous awards for her writing, including the Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart Award in 2005.
