Synopsis
Brandon Webb's experiences in the worlds most elite sniper corps are the stuff of legend. From his grueling years of training in Naval Special Operations, to his combat tours in the Persian Gulf and Afghanistan, THE RED CIRCLE provides a rare and personal look at the inner workings of the US military through the eyes of a covert operations specialist.
But it is Brandon's distinguished second career designing new post-9/11 sniper training courses that make him such an interesting former operator. Following the events of 9/11, Brandon went on to manage the SEAL sniper course, designing new curricula and training a generation of SEAL graduates who became some of the most accomplished snipers of the 21st century, including Chris Kyle, the US Special Operations Commands top marksman, with over 150 confirmed kills and author of American Sniper and Marcus Luttrell, former SEAL and author of Lone Survivor. Luttrell credits Webbs training with his own survival during his ill-fated 2005 mission in Afghanistan as part of Operation Red Wing.
Explosive and intelligent, candid and at times shocking, THE RED CIRCLE provides a uniquely personal glimpse into one of the most difficult and secretive military training courses in the world and the traits necessary to produce America's finest warriors.
